Community partners deliver the Do Bugs Need Drugs? program to children and adults around the province. We would not be able to do it without them!
We rely on nurses, nursing students, medical students, early childhood education students, early childhood educators, teachers, instructors, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and assisted living staff, among others, to sustain the program.
As prescribers of antibiotics, many healthcare professionals play an important role in addressing the problem of antibiotic resistance through education and consultation. Working together, we can decrease the overall use of antibiotics and help promote appropriate prescribing. Reducing unnecessary use of antibiotics will help to preserve the effectiveness of these important resources for the future.
