Provincial TB Services (TBS) provides TB consultation for health care providers across BC. We also manage most patients with TB disease and coordinate the case management of drug-resistant TB and complex pediatric cases.
We provide approximately 25,000 service points in the lower mainland and about 800 TB clinic visits monthly. We offer testing, diagnosis and treatment to marginalized individuals exposed to TB in urban, rural, and remote areas.
We lead the implementation of the TB Strategic Plan and integrate digital solutions into TB care.
The Clinical Prevention Services Epidemiology & Surveillance team publishes annual surveillance reports on the incidence of TB in BC.
We are part of Clinical Prevention Services at the BCCDC.
