STI/HIV Services

We provide low-barrier, culturally safe services for diverse communities around the prevention, testing, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.

Our work

We provide:

  • integrated care around STI, HIV and hepatitis C, with 30,000 points of service per year, with provincial reach
  • a low-threshold service, focusing on core populations
  • a provincial STI clinic at BCCDC and downtown
  • community sexual health services and STI/HIV prevention interventions
  • provincial physician and nursing consultation for STI/HIV management
  • teaching for nurses, medical residents and fellows

We also coordinate a centralized syphilis follow-up service.
