The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control provides provincial and national leadership in public health through surveillance, detection, prevention, consultation and provides both direct diagnostic and treatment services to people with diseases of public health significance.
Our unique integrated structure, one that combines service delivery, policy advice and research, contributes greatly to our ability to identify and respond to emerging public health threats.

BCCDC is dedicated to embedding a culture of quality and safety into all aspects of its’ programs. We work closely with partner health authorities, health professions and other stakeholders to continually improve Patient Safety & Quality of services.
