BC Hepatitis Services was established in 2001. We provide leadership for a coordinated strategy that focuses on prevention and care services for individuals and populations with or at risk of viral hepatitis in British Columbia
         

OUR GOALS ARE TO:  

  • Prevent, control and eliminate viral hepatitis through evidence-based public health policies
  • Detect and respond to new cases of viral hepatitis
  • Develop and apply advanced informatics for surveillance systems and monitoring in public health
  • Create knowledge through applied research and innovation aimed at improving the health of British Columbians
  • Advance public health excellence by attracting and retaining highly qualified persons to support health services
  • Provide leadership and create partnerships to facilitate the development of an effective integrated public health system
