Hepatitis B Vaccines

The hepatitis B vaccine is given for free as part of routine immunizations to infants and to children who are in grade 6 and who have not been given the vaccine before.

It is usually given at the same time as other vaccines.

DTaP-HB-IPV-Hib (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, Polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b), INFANRIX hexa™

  • For children under 7 years of age starting their immunizations in February 2009 or later
  • Three doses
  • Usually given at 2, 4 and 6 months of age

 

Hepatitis B Vaccine, RECOMBIVAX HB® or ENGERIX®-B
