Contaminants
The BCCDC Environmental Health Services Division provides assistance to Regional Health Authorities in responding to local issues related to contaminant exposure through food, air, water, soil or any other part of the community environment.
Additionally, the BCCDC provides input to the Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport so they can develop effective policies and strategies to deal with these contaminants.
