The TST course is an open enrolment, self-paced course. It takes approximately one hour to complete.
The goal of the TST course is to provide health care workers with the knowledge required to administer and read a TST. This information is intended to complement the required practical experience that will follow within your organization.
TB Essentials Online Course is a recommended pre-requisite.
Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox are the recommended web browsers for optimal course experience. Google Chrome is not recommended.
QuickTime is required to view the video content in this course - please contact your IT department in advance if this program is not installed on your computer.
The TST online course content is informed by the BCCDC TB Manual, the Canadian TB Standards (7th ed.) and the BCCDC TB Clinical Leadership team. Practice content is guided by the College of Registered Nurses of BC.
A certificate of completion is available for printing once the course and final evaluation have been completed.
