Provincial Fish Inspection

The information on this page is meant for provincial inspectors of fish processing plants in BC. Some of this content may be of general interest to fish processing plant operators and others.
A Provincial Fish Inspection Reference Manual was created to assist and to recommend provincial fish inspection best-practices in the province of British Columbia.   Information in this manual was sourced from multiple references, and each section is fully cited.  The manual was peer-reviewed by inspectors from health authorities in BC and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (a full list of acknowledgements can be found in the cover section).  Information was current at the time of publication, however, certain sections are being reviewed and updated as required by changing policy and practice.
