Norovirus / Norwalk-like virus
 |
Norovirus is the term used to describe a group of viruses that belong to the Calicivirus family, and which cause a very common gastroenteritis. Outbreaks are less noticeable in the general community, but become much more noticeable in "closed communities" such as long term care and acute care facilities. |
