Leptospirosis
 |
Leptospirosis is the most widespread zoonotic disease in the world, but human cases in Canada are uncommon, probably because of past campaigns to vaccinate pet dogs. However, there may be a resurgence of canine disease in eastern Canada. The disease is more common in tropical and sub-tropical areas of the world. |
