Leptospirosis

Leptospirosis Leptospirosis is the most widespread zoonotic disease in the world, but human cases in Canada are uncommon, probably because of past campaigns to vaccinate pet dogs. However, there may be a resurgence of canine disease in eastern Canada. The disease is more common in tropical and sub-tropical areas of the world.
