Hamburger Disease (E coli)

Hamburger disease (or, E. coli infection) can be a serious illness causing bloody diarrhea (hemorrhagic colitis), kidney failure and death. It is easy to prevent it by following some simple rules.

Did you know?

For the years 1999 through 2008, there was a total of 1,616 reports of E. coli infection in B.C.
