Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)
Bacterial vaginosis
Bacterial Vaginosis, or BV, is a mild infection of the vagina that is caused by bacteria. Bacterial vaginosis is more common in women who are sexually active, but you are not likely to catch it from another person. BV can be treated with antibiotics.
