Chee Mamuk New Work A Guide to Wise Practices for HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention Programs
Chee Mamuk Around the Kitchen Table Wise Practices for HIV/AIDS
The Chee Mamuk program
provides culturally appropriate
on-site community based HIV/AIDS
and Sexually Transmitted Disease education and training to Aboriginal communities, organizations, and professionals within BC.

The Around the Kitchen Table project aims to empower Aboriginal women to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS by reclaiming tradition and joining women in a community network of support and education.
The project offers "train the trainer" sessions, allowing communities to
run their own sessions, utilizing their own traditions and local resources to educate and inform participants.

A guide based on practice and
research to assist communities in planning HIV/AIDS education
programs. This resource features summaries of successful projects conducted both locally and around
the world.
