Chee Mamuk is a provincial Aboriginal program that provides innovative and culturally appropriate sexually transmitted infection (STI) and HIV education, resources and wise practice models. Chee Mamuk’s services are grounded in community, tradition and science in order to build capacity in Aboriginal communities to prevent the spread of HIV and STIs. |

inSPOT is an online partner notification service for individuals diagnosed with STIs. Implemented in sites across North America and now in British Columbia, inSPOT lets people send electronic postcards (“e-cards”) to their sex partners to tell them that they should get tested for STIs. |

The Outreach/Street Nurse Program provides expertise and leadership in STI / HIV / TB prevention with vulnerable populations. The team of Registered Nurses and Health Care Workers work on the streets and in shelters, hotels, parks, bathhouses, corrections and detox facilities. They offer mentorship to communities and health care providers in BC and throughout Canada. |

The overall purpose of the program is to increase uptake of HIV testing in the province by providing an acceptable and accessible alternative to standard HIV testing. This program provides POC tests and supplies free-of-charge to health care settings that meet the program standards. |

The primary goal of the STI/HIV Research Program is to engage in significant research activites that will impact the prevention, control or elimination of sexually transmitted infections. |
