Chee Mamuk Aboriginal Program

Chee Mamuk is a provincial Aboriginal program of the STI/HIV Prevention and Control Division of the BC Centre for Disease Control.  Chee Mamuk’s mandate is to provide culturally appropriate on-site community based HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infection education and training to Aboriginal communities, organizations and professionals within BC.

Chee Mamuk also provides referrals, consultation and assistance with developing appropriate programs, activities or information materials. Our program presently employs three full time workers, a Program Manager, an Educator and an Administrative Support person, all of First Nations descent.
